After we convinced the boys that they WOULD go to school, Tom and I drove them. My parents came over to watch after Morgan, who slept until after 11:00 AM, but woke up fever free :) Since Tom was going to be late for work, we drove into Seattle, then I continued on to see Summer. The boys had a good day...Morgan and I picked them up at the school and we all stayed to play on the playground. While I was talking with some moms, Andrew came up to me and stated (in a way only Andrew can do....Deep thoughts by Andrew) "I really liked her mom! " then ran back to play. He had protested that morning about school until I told him Justin's brother had Ms. Drury the year before and loved her....his attitude took a complete turn around...again only the way Andrew can. Tom has Ms. Aulava, who was his Kindergarten teacher too, so was really looking forward to class this year...no arguments from him :)

I only had to explain how many kids I have/Brooke's passing 2 times and made it through without crying, this time. I have been dreading having to see parents and teachers that might not be aware of how things have turned out, but thanks to some good friends who hang out at the school a lot, the principal, PTA board, and teachers were told. I guess there is no way around talking about it anyway....sigh
Now that the school year has begun, it will be easier to go see Summer too :) We have to be thankful for those little perks!

The more you talk about her beautiful little soul, the more you will look forward to doing it again and again. I like it when people ask now, but it took me a long time to get here. :-)
